BNP Paribas’ Q3 securities services revenues have increased 6.4 percent to €535 million compared to Q3 last year, due to business growth.
In its Q3 2019 results, the bank also reported €13.07 trillion assets under custody and under administration, up by 10.2 percent compared to 30 September last year.
BNP Paribas Securities Services stated that this was due in particular to the successful migration of the $180 billion in assets of Janus Henderson, a US-based firm.
The transaction is part of BNP Paribas’s 10-year build-out of its securities services business in the US and provides BNP Paribas with a US mutual fund administration and accounting platform.
BNP Paribas Securities Services also reported the number of transactions completed in Q3 2019 increased by 9.5 percent compared to the same quarter last year.
