Tenemos has launched a new SaaS enterprise for cross border payments.
The company says this will enable Payment Service Providers (PSPs) such as banks, fintechs and electronic money institutions, to efficiently launch and lower the costs of their cross border payments services.
The Tenemos Cross Border Payments Enterprise Service was introduced as a result of industry pressures to hit G20 targets for cross border payments, including improving speed and cost of transactions, transparency of fees and access to a variety of options.
The service is said to reduce the risk of change and increase scalability. By using the solution, PSPs will be able to increase payments volumes at faster completion times, and reduce operational costs.
Mick Fennell, business line director, payments at Tenemos, comments: “With the launch of Cross Border Payments Enterprise Service, Temenos reaffirms its commitment to customer-centric innovation within the payments industry.”
Leader of strategic initiatives, research at Datos Insights, Christine Barry, adds: “We believe that scalable technology with smart processing, such as that from Temenos, can help payments providers to compete by lowering routing costs and reducing payment delivery times, ultimately improving customer experiences.”
