Atoa Payments receives FCA approval
14 March 2025 UK

Atoa Payments has acquired regulatory approval from the Financial Conduct Authority (FCA) to operate as an authorised payment initiation (API).
Atoa Payments says that the approval will now enable the company to extend its payment services to larger businesses across the UK, including payment initiation, virtual account, and payment account information services.
With the approval, the company also aims to provide more users with better access to secure, cost-effective and instant payment solutions.
Sid Narayanan, CEO and co-founder of Atoa, says: “Achieving FCA authorisation is not just a regulatory milestone — it’s a springboard for scaling our impact. We’re now in a position to serve larger businesses with even more advanced payment capabilities, and we’re only just getting started.”
