Volante launches Designer Version 5.1

Volante Technologies has released a new version of its ‘Designer’ data and messaging software.
Volante Designer Version 5.1 intends to help financial institutions to adapt to changing messaging standards and improve agility for compliance with changing regulations. It is also designed to speed up the on-boarding process and extend firms’ reach of business opportunity.
The updated solution supports BACS, faster payments and German, Canadian and Australian formats. It is also prepared for updates to ISO 20022 and SWIFT’s Trade Finance MT798 and standards for 2015.
Improvements for users include visual mapping functions and enhanced extract, transform and load (ETL) functionalities for the transformation and caching of data sets in bulk. This intends to make it easier to handle large or fast-moving sets of data effectively.
The software also now supports open-source platforms such as Mule and Spring, with adaptors allowing users to ‘drag and drop’ data and to configure data flows for added transparency. It also improves user control when integrating Volante with open-source technologies.
Along with a suite of software tools for supporting complex messaging and data integration challenges, the software is intended to become a ‘one-stop’ shop for financial firms using many platforms and data formats.
