BNP Paribas has given authorised payment service providers (PSPs) access to its second European Payment Services Directive (PSD2) application programming interfaces (APIs).
The publicly accessible online portable sets out the content and documentation of the API and enables the user to contact BNP Paribas to get access to the APIs or ask questions.
Access to these APIs is reserved for PSPs that have received authorisation from their competent national authority in an EU Member State.
The APIs can be accessed on the BNP Paribas API Store Portal which shows all the PSD2 APIs for France, Belgium and CIB Europe.
APIs offered by other group entities are already locally available and are due to be listed in the API Store in due course.
BNP Paribas APIs have been available in a test environment since March 2019.
