State Street appoints new head of Paris branch

State Street has appointed Olga Jordao as branch manager of State Street Bank International in Paris.Reporting to Stefan Gmuer, CEO for State Street Bank International, Jordao will be responsible for managing the State Street global services business in France.Since joining State Street in 1993, Jordao has held various positions in both France and Luxembourg. Most recently, she worked as global chief operating officer and was responsible for leading a global virtual team.Gmuer said: “Our office in France continues to play an important role in our European presence. Olga Jordao’s experience and background will bring a fresh, strategic perspective to the role to help maintain the strength of our business in Europe for years to come and further enhance our capabilities as our clients’ essential partner.”
