Attila Szalay-Berzeviczy has departed Raiffeisen Bank International (RBI) where he served as executive director, head of group securities services, to pursue other opportunities outside of the financial services industry.
Szalay-Berzeviczy has more than 25 years of experience in the banking and custody industry.
He joined RBI in 2012 as senior adviser to RBI global securities services and was then promoted to his most recent role in 2013.
During his time at RBI, Szalay-Berzeviczy contributed to RBI’s market position and has been the driving force behind the establishment of RBI’s direct connections to the various central securities depositories in the Central and Eastern Europe region.
All client-facing responsibilities will be taken over by Bettina Janoschek in her new role as head of global investor services sales, relationship management and market intelligence.
Janoschek has more than 20 years of experience in capital markets and securities services.
She will be in charge of enhancing the client experience throughout all products in the business line and will continue to service clients along with the rest of the team.
In addition, Radek Ignatowicz will reinforce the Vienna-based team and be fully responsible for the development and delivery of the bank’s services in terms of regional custody and global custody.
Ignatowicz will manage this task with full end-to-end responsibility for the entire product value chain and in an agile set-up with operations and IT experts.
