Aztec Group, an independent fund and corporate services provider, has bolstered its private equity team with three senior appointments.
Matt Horton has been appointed as group head of private equity and will oversee all private equity-based relationship management, operations and business development activities across the group in his new role.
Horton has been with the Aztec Group since 2010 and has worked as head of private equity in Guernsey since 2016.
Meanwhile, Gavin Hayman has been named as jurisdictional head of private equity in Guernsey.
Hayman joined the Aztec Group as a director in 2017 and will now take on full responsibility for the group’s private equity services and operations in Guernsey.
Finally, Alan Ross, formerly group head of private equity, has taken on the new position of group head of transformation.
In his new role, he will be responsible for identifying and implementing automated processes and integrating market-leading platforms, enhancing the group’s service offering to its clients.
Ross joined the Aztec Group in Jersey in 2006, and has been “instrumental in the development of the business’ private equity service offering and the growth of the wider group” Aztec said.
Edward Moore, CEO and founder of the Aztec Group, said: “Congratulations to Matt Horton, Gavin Hayman and Alan Ross on their new appointments. They have all drawn on their extensive industry knowledge and client experience to play an integral part in the ongoing growth and success of our award-winning private equity platform.”
“As key members of our leadership team, they will continue to play central roles in shaping and driving the group’s strategy and enhancing our market-leading service offering,” Moore added.
