HornbyChapman hires new managing director

HornbyChapman, the specialist financial services recruitment firm, has hired Emma Berwick as managing director.
Berwick will head up HornbyChapman’s new division dedicated to hiring chairs and non-executive directors, working across the investment management, investor services, fintech and start-up sectors.
The new division, HornbyChapman NED, will offer executive search, board advisory and inclusion and diversity expertise rooted in a strong technical understanding of the governance, risk, regulatory and behavioural requirements, which HornbyChapman said are vital for impactful boards.
Paul Chapman, co-founder and managing director of HornbyChapman, commented: “I have known and worked with Emma Berwick for many years and am hugely excited about her ability to add value to our clients in a sector which is undergoing great change, with SMCR and a number of other regulations increasing the pressure on boards to hire diverse and truly value-adding professionals to their teams.”
