Suresh Gopal joins AlfaSec Advisors as director

AlfaSec Advisors, a consulting firm specialising in fund services, remediation and consulting for the investor and securities services industry, has appointed Suresh Gopal as director.
Gopal will work alongside the two existing founding directors of AlfaSec Advisors and will focus on fund and asset management services.
Suresh is set to help clients optimise operating models and services with a specific focus on operations, information technology, outsourcing and key infrastructure around the processing of funds.
This includes transfer agency, distribution regulatory reporting, and trustee services, AlfaSec Advisors noted.
During his career, Gopal has gained 30 years of experience in the fund services industry. He has held a wide variety of roles spanning fund administration, information technology, and programme and product management in both the Asia Pacific and Europe.
Most recently, Gopal was the senior vice president and the regional head of strategic client solutions and product at State Street.
Commenting on the appointment, Roger Harrold and Philippe Metoudi, co-founders of AlfaSec Advisors, said: "Suresh Gopal is a 30-year industry veteran.
