Michael Peters has been appointed as CEO of Eurex Frankfurt, replacing Thomas Book effective 1 July.

Peters has worked as deputy CEO at Eurex since February 2016.

The appointment is part of changes to the executive boards of Eurex Frankfurt and Eurex Clearing following a reorganisation of Deutsche Boerse.

Randolf Roth will assume responsibility for equity and index derivatives for Eurex, as well as client service trading and clearing.

The cash market division, which was previously the responsibility of Hauke Stars, will be integrated into the trading and clearing division as of 1 July 2020.

In a new board edition, Jonas Ullmann joins as chief operating officer for trading design and delivery, such as the development of trading functionalities and existing trading operations.

Additionally, Jens Janka will join the executive board of Eurex Clearing as chief operating officer, replacing Heike Eckert.

Janka will be responsible for the newly-created division of human resources and compliance.
