SS&C bolsters senior Advent team

SS&C Technologies has promoted executives Karen Geiger and Steve Leivent to co-heads of SS&C Advent, reporting to president and COO, Rahul Kanwar.

Geiger will be responsible for managing the asset management and alternatives solution portfolio, consisting of over 1,4000 clients that implement the Geneva, Advent Portfolio Exchange, and Moxy platforms.

She has previously held the positions of vice president of global solutions development and senior director of Geneva accounting development during her 20 year career at SS&C.

In his new role, Leivent will manage SS&C Advent’s advisory business for clients using outsourcing services and the Black Diamond solution. He previously served as senior vice president for advisory client experience at the financial services and software provider.

In other news, Robert Roley, senior vice president and general manager of SS&C Advent, is stepping down to pursue another opportunity.

Bill Stone, chairman and CEO of SS&C, commented: “SS&C is blessed with a cadre of accomplished executives, and Karen Geiger and Steve Leivent are two fine examples. Their promotions further our aim to promote from within, and their expertise and leadership will help us deepen client relationships, meet client deliverables, motivate our workforce and grow our business.”
