State Street names new Hong Kong Head of SPDR ETFs

State Street Global Advisors has bolstered its team with the appointment of Joanne Siu, as head of SPDR exchange-traded funds (ETFs), Hong Kong.
Siu will oversee the SPDR ETF business in Hong Kong from a distribution perspective, focusing on the distribution of SPDR ETFs in the Hong Kong market.
Report to Meaghan Victor, head of SPDR ETF Asia Pacific distribution at State Street Global Advisors, Siu will coordinate distribution engagement for the firm’s institutional and financial intermediary clients in Hong Kong across capital markets, product and infrastructure.
During her career, Siu gained 15 years of experience in the asset management industry and specialises in ETF sales and distribution.
Prior to joining State Street Global Advisors, she was sales director at Jupiter Asset Management. She previously held positions at Samsung Asset Management and BlackRock.
Siu started her career at State Street in the asset servicing business.
