Walkers, an investment funds group, has expanded its team in Jersey with the appointment of investment funds and corporate lawyer Dilmun Leach as a group partner.
Leach has joined as a lateral partner hire from another Jersey firm and has become the fourth partner in the growing investment funds and corporate team alongside Jonathan Heaney, Christopher Reed and Leanne Wallser.
In his role, Leach advises clients in London, the US and the Channel Islands on the establishment and restructuring of investment funds, and on complex corporate, private equity and capital markets transactions, as well as on complex financial services regulatory issues
Commenting on Leach’s appointment, Heaney said: "Dilmun Leach's very welcome arrival takes us up to four partners in the team as we continue to grow our practice. He has an outstanding reputation in the market both here in the Island and more broadly in the London market and I am delighted to welcome him aboard."
