Euroclear has expanded its relationship management team in New York with three new appointments.
Rudi Fernandez Michiels has re-joined Euroclear relationship manager covering North America.
Michiels joins from Clearstream where he served as vice president sales and relationship management between 2015 and November 2020.
Before that, he worked as manager account management and client support at Euroclear. He had various roles at Euroclear since he first joined in 2002 up until his departure in 2015.
Michiels replaces Paul Noordam, relationship manager, who after spending eight years in New York moves back to Amsterdam, where he will be responsible for Euroclear’s Dutch clients.
Meanwhile, Silvia Pechakova, who has worked at Euroclear for 12 years, has been promoted from key account manager to relationship manager covering North America and the Caribbean.
Before joining the team in New York, she worked in Euroclear’s Brussels office.
Finally, Menachem Bandel will cover South and Central America in his new role in relationship management.
Most recently, Bandel worked in investment products for private clients for the Safra National Bank of New York.
Commenting on the appointments, Miguel Ferreira, regional head Americas at Euroclear, said: “Rudi Fernandez Michiels, Silvia Pechakova and Menachem Bandel will help us support our vast client base and expand our network by adding new players to our ecosystem. Euroclear is the place where issuers and investors around the world meet.”
