Apex hires Henk Pieter van Asselt as part of ambassador strategy expansion

Apex Group, a global financial services provider, has appointed Henk Pieter van Asselt to the role of Apex Ambassador as part of its new strategy.
The ‘Ambassador Strategy’ will draw on the experience of senior executives in the industry to support the company’s commercial development.
As an ambassador, van Asselt will draw on his global network built during his career in the financial services industry, to support the growth of Apex’s new and existing client relationships.
He brings more than 20 years of international experience in the financial services industry and has experience in leading and implementing sustainable revenue growth strategies.
At Apex he will report to Renaud Oury, chief revenue and data officer.
During his career, van Asselt spent a decade as a member of Intertrust Group’s management board and executive committee, latterly as chief commercial officer.
In this position, van Asselt played a role in driving sales growth and the integrating of over 12 global acquisitions and eventual Euronext initial public offering of the Intertrust business.
Prior to this, he held senior management roles in the banking industry, including various international roles for Fortis Bank and ABN Amro.
Most recently van Asselt was external senior advisor to global consultancy Bain & Company on mergers and acquisitions transactions for the financial industry.

Apex has also made four senior appointments in its corporate solutions business. Apex’s corporate solutions team provides clients with capital markets, corporate services, private client and family office services, business services, ESG Ratings & Advisory and compliance services.
