Maples Group hires new head of Netherlands office

Maples Group has bolstered its team with the appointment of Yuri Schuurman as senior vice president and head of the Netherlands office.
Schuurman brings in-depth knowledge on matters related to legal compliance, finance, and complex international corporate structuring, among other areas of expertise.
He has held a number of senior roles with a multi-jurisdictional corporate services provider where he managed large teams servicing a multi-national client portfolio.
Schuurman will be responsible for driving the group's strategy and growing its Netherlands business, while ensuring the delivery of the highest quality of work and client service.
Licensed and regulated by the Dutch Central Bank as a trust office, the Netherlands office provides a range of fiduciary services including registered office, directorship and other corporate administration services to special purpose vehicles and Dutch holding companies.
