RBS International has appointed Philip Prideaux as director to drive the bank’s Luxembourg funds banking offering.

Based in London, Prideaux will be responsible for supporting the requirements of local managers and advisors of Luxembourg funds, with a focus on delivering fund financing solutions.

Prideaux has worked at RBS International since September 2017 and he most recently served as an associate director on the UK private equity team.

Prior to RBS, he worked at NatWest Group as an associate director for the financial institutions group.

Ian Harcourt, country head and head of institutional banking, RBS International Luxembourg, comments: “I am delighted that Philip Prideaux has joined the team at a time when we have such exciting and extensive ambitions for providing fund finance and wider liquidity solutions to the Luxembourg funds market.”

According to Harcourt, RBS is dedicated to exponentially growing and deepening its financial support to this key market and Prideaux brings a wealth of experience and drive which should help us achieve these ambitions in the coming year.

“Alongside our investment in attracting highly skilled colleagues, we are continuing to invest in our digital platform which will be of significant benefit to all our customers and strategic partners,” adds Harcourt.

RBS International supports over 200 alternative investment funds in Luxembourg with their fund financing, cash management, currency risk management, and depositary needs.
