State Street has appointed Jeslyn Tan as head of product management for Asia Pacific (APAC).

Based in Singapore, Tan will be responsible for developing and driving an end-to-end product strategy for the APAC region.

Tan will report globally to Brenda Lyons, global head of asset servicing product, and regionally to Mostapha Tahiri, CEO for APAC.

Tan joins State Street from Deutsche Bank, where she was most recently the global head of product management.

She brings 26 years of experience in product development, developing digital and technology transformation initiatives. She has launched numerous award-winning products and products that were the first to market.

Commenting on Tan’s appointment, Tahiri says: "With Jeslyn's local market knowledge and deep experience in product management in APAC, combined with our capabilities and services that are highly scalable and truly global, we are well positioned to better serve our clients by responding accurately and offering the right products and services to clients in the rapidly changing environment in the region."

Lyons comments: "Jeslyn has strong knowledge of the global capital market landscape and a distinct understanding of client needs in APAC. We are excited to have her experience and leadership as State Street continues to drive new and innovative product capabilities in support of institutional investors globally."

With offices in Brunei, Beijing, Hangzhou, Shanghai, Hong Kong, Taipei, Bangalore, Mumbai, Hyderabad, Fukuoka, Tokyo, Kuala Lumpur, Singapore and Seoul, State Street provides investment servicing, investment research and trading, and investment management to asset owners, asset managers, official institutions, insurance companies and alternative investors in APAC.
