Citi has promoted Jaime Healy-Waters to global head of cash equity middle-office and Europe, Middle East and Africa, cash securities settlements.
Healy-Waters was previously director at Citi, beginning the role in October 2009.
Healy-Waters promotion comes after Citi reported its securities services revenues have increased 10 per cent to US$692 million, on a reported basis and 9 per cent in constant dollars for Q3 2021.
According to the bank, this was driven by growth in assets under custody and settlement volumes, partially offset by lower deposit spreads.
Last year, Citi reported markets and securities services revenues for Q3 2020 as $5.2 billion, a 16 percent increase compared to Q3 2019, which stood at $4.5 billion.
