HSBC adds investor services product head

HSBC has appointed CP Yap as global head of investor services product, markets and securities services, effective immediately.
In his new role, Yap will be based in Hong Kong and reports to Sebastien Danloy, global head of investor services, and Brian Goddins, regional head of securities services, Asia, Middle East, North Africa, and Turkey.
Yap previously served as president and CEO of Computershare in Hong Kong, before which he held the positions of head of custody and fund services, Asia Pacific, and head of securities and fund services, Hong Kong and mainland China, at Citibank.
Commenting on the appointment, Danloy says: “CP brings with him a wealth of experience and deep understanding of our products. He will help us continue to build out our post-trade product suite and digital capabilities for asset owners and managers.”
