BNY Mellon appoints Salmaan Nayeer to asset servicing team

BNY Mellon has appointed Salmaan Nayeer as head of middle-office product for Asia Pacific (APAC).
Prior to BNY Mellon, Nayeer was director of APAC and middle-office product manager at HSBC from August 2018 to December 2021.
Before HSBC, Nayeer was executive director and head of APAC complex assets product development - fund services at J.P. Morgan from August 2016 to August 2018.
Nayeer was also head of rates derivatives at J.P. Morgan from 2014 to 2016 as well as head of Europe, Middle East and Africa and APAC rates trade processing and regulatory reform technology from September 2010 to February 2014.
Prior to J.P. Morgan, Nayeer served at Bank of America Merrill Lynch and Credit Suisse.
Commenting on his new appointment via LinkedIn, Nayeer says: “After having spent close to three and a half wonderful years at HSBC, I am excited to embark upon my next challenge at BNY Mellon to help drive asset servicing.”
