Highvern has established a business in Ireland, led by country head Philip Dempsey and directors Adrian Bailie and Emma Keane in three new appointments.
The Irish office will provide corporate and fund administration services to both regulated and unregulated structures ranging across debt, capital markets, real estate, infrastructure, private equity, and other alternative asset classes.
Dempsey previously served as country head of Sanne Ireland, where he was responsible for the executive management of all business lines, including debt and capital markets, regulated fund administration, and alternative investment fund management.
Before this he was director of LIS Ireland and head of transfer agency product at Citi respectively.
In his new role, Bailie will be responsible for promoting Highvern’s expansion into the Irish special purpose vehicle marketplace, specialising in private debt and capital markets.
He previously held the position of director of private debt and capital markets at Sanne, before which he was head of accounting corporate services, Ireland at Deutsche Bank.
Keane joined Highvern last October to establish the firm’s initial Irish footprint, focusing on debt financing, private equity, venture capital and real estate strategies.
Commenting on the expansion and hires, Martin Hall, managing director of Highvern, explains: “Launching in Ireland is a very logical next step for us given the market prospects and proven appetite for the high quality and technology-based client service.
“We are delighted to have been able to attract such an established and well-respected team in the Irish market now and look forward to working with Phil, Adrian and Emma as they grow the business.”
Dempsey adds: “We are thrilled to be joining Highvern at such an exciting time in its evolution and expansion into new jurisdictions such as Ireland. It is clear that our business has a well-defined and effective business strategy. Highvern already has a strong industry reputation and the growth potential is significant.”
