Euronext Securities, the Euronext central securities depositary (CSD), has appointed Kristine Bastøe as the new CEO of Euronext Securities Oslo, with effect from 1 March 2022.

Kristine Bastøe will lead the development of Euronext Securities Oslo, taking over from current CEO, Audun Bø, who is due to leave the company in June 2022 after a transition period.

Bastøe will play an integral role in developing Euronext Securities’ pan-European coverage over the next three years. The strategy involves expanding Euronext’s service offering and converging platforms across markets.

Bastøe has extensive experience in the financial industry, from working across businesses and in consulting.

Bastøe joined Euronext Securities Oslo in 2017 as a management consultant. In 2019 she was appointed executive vice president, head of products.

During this time Bastøe engaged in several cross-CSD business initiatives across the four markets within Euronext Securities. She also has experience with transformation programmes from her time as management consultant.
