LPA, a capital market technology and advisory firm, has announced the hire of Paolo de Vito as head of business development.

Based in Italy, de Vito will lead the opening of the Italian branch of LPA and be responsible for the business development, strategy, and growth of LPA’s activity in the region.

Additionally, he will work to help LPA’s clients to transform and digitise their activity, maximising productivity and ensuring regulatory compliance.

de Vito possesses more than 25 years of international experience in the marketing and sales of services and technologies in financial services and investment management.

He joins LPA from global fund data provider FE fundinfo, where he was head of business development in Italy and responsible for business development for the entire product range in Italy and Ticino.

de Vito has also held roles at international information and technology providers such as Dow Jones, Bloomberg, and FIDA.

Peter Schurau, CEO of LPA, comments: “LPA has been driving the digitalisation of the capital market business for more than 20 years and it is important that we begin to build our presence in Italy. Paolo’s vast expertise and knowledge of the Italian financial services market will tremendously help to unlock our potential in the region and deliver LPA’s technology and advisory solutions to our clients across the country.”

de Vito adds: “I am very excited to be heading LPA’s opening of an Italian branch and increasing its presence in the Italian market. LPA is a growing provider with an expertise in unlocking potential in the financial services industry and it is my ambition to bring this expertise to an Italian client base. I look forward to growing a strong team in Italy and providing LPA’s sound financial market knowledge and powerful technology to the Italian market.”
