Maitland Fund Services has appointed Jacolene Otto as head of fund services for Luxembourg.
As part of her new role, Otto will be responsible for regulatory and functional reporting lines as well as a team of 25 employees based in Luxembourg.
In addition, Otto has been appointed as director on the board of Maitland Luxembourg S.A..
Otto has more than 12 years’ experience working in the financial services industry.
She is also a chartered accountant and worked for KPMG before joining Maitland in 2017.
Commenting on her new appointment, Otto, says: “Luxembourg is recognised worldwide as one of the premier jurisdictions for fund services, with a highly robust governance and regulatory regime instituted and managed by the [Luxembourg financial authority] CSSF. I look forward to steering Maitland’s continued growth in Luxembourg.”
