Bosonic hires van Amerongen as client solutions director

Decentralised Financial Market Infrastructure (dFMI) business Bosonic, has appointed Yvo van Amerongen as client solutions director.

Based in London, van Amerongen will lead the recently announced Bosonic Cross-Custodian Net Settlement Working Group, partnering with digital custodians globally.

In addition to this, he will support the collaboration between the custodians and the institutional clients including hedge funds, brokers and banks on the Bosonic Network.

Bringing more than 20 years of experience in post-trade and custody to the role, van Amerongen previously held roles at BNP Paribas, Euroclear, Deutsche Bank and Clearstream.

Most recently, he worked in post-trade and custody strategy during his more than three year term with UBS.

Speaking on the recent news, van Amerongen says: “I have been impressed by Bosonic’s achievements and value proposition. The industry needs access to core infrastructure for crypto and digital assets that specifically aligns to institutional requirements. The Bosonic Network and the company’s wider work with digital assets custodians is an industry-leading proposition and I am looking forward to helping drive the growth of the business.”
