State Street hires Meintjes for digital custody

Eugene Kemp Meintjes has joined State Street Digital as a specialist in digital custody and will be based in Zurich.
He moves to the Boston banking giant from UBS, where he built a distinguished career in network management, securities services and cash management.
Based in Zurich, Meintjes served from 2011 to 2017 as executive director of group network management at UBS and head of market infrastructure and strategy.
In October 2017, he became executive director for cash management and securities services at UBS, with responsibility for strategy and development for banks.
Prior to joining UBS, Meintjes spent 10 years at Clearstream as senior client relationship manager, looking after sales and relationships for key broker-dealer and banking clients.
