BNP Paribas Securities Services appoints new head of Southeast Asia

BNP Paribas Securities Services has appointed Luc Renard as head of Securities Services for Southeast Asia.
In this role, Renard will be responsible for BNP Paribas Securities Services’ Southeast Asia commercial and operational hub, continuing to deepen relationships with new and existing clients.
Based in Singapore, Renard will report to Franck Dubois, head of Asia Pacific (APAC), and Joris Dierckx, regional head for Southeast Asia.
Renard has more than 20 years of experience at BNP Paribas, working within the APAC region.
Prior to his new role, Renard served as head of financial intermediaries client line and digital transformation, a role he began in March 2019.
Over the past 12 years, Renard has been based across Singapore, Australia and Hong Kong in a variety of regional clearing, custody and digital transformation roles for the global bank.
Commenting on Renard’s appointment, Dubois says: “I am delighted to announce Luc’s appointment at the helm of our Southeast Asia commercial and operational hub. It is a fast-growing business, serving local and international clients in a region alive with financial technology innovation.
