Eventus appoints Robbie McDonnell as sales director for Australia and New Zealand

Eventus have appointed Robbie McDonnell as sales director for Australia and New Zealand.
Eventus has been expanding its operations, and is now active in Hong Kong, Singapore, South Korea, and Australia.
McDonnell has more than 30 years of experience in financial markets technology, and has previously served in several sales leadership roles. His experience in the APAC region includes a stint as managing director of sales for Trading Technologies, driving regional expansion.
McDonnell was also CEO of Sydney-based Confidere Group from March 2020 to 2022.
Speaking on his new appointment, McDonnell says: “Eventus has been growing by leaps and bounds, with industry-leading technology for trade surveillance and management of market risk. The firm is helping financial institutions navigate an ever-changing and complex marketplace with an easy-to-use platform they can easily customise to their unique needs.”
