Ogier promotes Martin Byers to counsel

Legal advice provider Ogier has promoted Martin Byers to counsel in its Cayman Islands division.
Byers has served at Ogier for more than a year as senior associate. Prior to this, he has worked as an associate at Maples Group in the Cayman Islands, and at the Financial Conduct Authority and Goldman Sachs in London.
With more than a decade of experience, Byers has advised on regulatory matters including licensing, registration and approval requirements, beneficial ownership, and anti-money laundering operations. Based in the Cayman Islands, he also covers regulatory matters in the British Virgin Islands.
