Northern Trust has promoted Kate Webber to the newly created role of head of product strategy.

As part of the role, Webber will establish a client solutions team to offer products and solutions catering to its clients’ needs.

Webber was previously lead project manager for fund services at Northern Trust from 2019 to 2022.

Prior to Northern Trust, Webber was managing director, head of product development at
Calastone from 2014 to 2019.

She has held other senior roles at IBM Global Business Services, financial data and IT services firm IFDS and BNY Mellon.

Webber is the founder of Women in Asset Servicing (WiAS). Webber began the initiative in 2018 to identify what could be done to help increase the number of women in the asset servicing sector and grow female representation across all levels of the financial services industry.

Women in Asset Servicing won the Equality, Diversity & Inclusion Initiative at Asset Servicing Times’ Industry Excellence Awards 2021.
