Cybersecurity software and solutions provider Drawbridge has appointed William Haney as CEO and a member of its board of directors. Company founder Jason Elmer will become president.

Haney has more than 30 years of experience in the industry, and is currently a board member for several technology and investment firms including technology companies Wahed and Enhesa and business management consultant alva. Prior to this, he served as CEO of financial services provider Credit Benchmark and digital solutions provider BISAM.

His appointment follows a year of significant growth for Drawbridge, with alternative asset manager demand for cybersecurity services on the rise. Haney’s experience in leadership and implementing rapid growth will be an important asset for the company’s future plans, Drawbridge says.

Commenting on his appointment, Haney says: "It is my privilege to join this talented group and help drive forward Drawbridge’s mission. I am excited to work alongside Jason and the leadership team as we begin the next stage of our growth journey, extend Drawbridge’s all-in-one platform and give alternative investment managers the solutions they need to keep their assets safe and comply with SEC and other regulations.”

Elmer adds: "William is an accomplished leader who has steered some of the world's most innovative and disruptive technology companies. The breadth and depth of his operational and hands-on experience scaling global businesses is unmatched, and the board and I are excited to have selected William as our next CEO.”
