DeA Capital Real Estate Germany shuffles team

DeA Capital Real Estate Germany (DeA Capital) has appointed Emmanuel O. Steinbeis as director of portfolio management and Jens Zimmermann as director of asset management.
In his new role as director of portfolio management, Steinbeis will be responsible for the portfolio management of DeA Capital’s funds, as well as the operational implementation of fund strategy, portfolio management, structuring and performance. In addition, he will provide sustainability and business development support.
Most recently, Steinbeis served as a fund manager for Catella Real Estate AG.
Zimmermann will be responsible for the value-creating activities of DeA Capital Real Estate in the DACH regions (Germany, Austria and Switzerland) at the individual property level.
He has more than seven years of professional experience in the European real estate markets,
including the management of properties in all asset and risk classes as well as the cross-border acquisition of commercial properties.
Most recently, Zimmermann worked in asset management at Montano Real Estate, where he headed the Frankfurt branch.
DeA Capital is involved in the management and development of real estate, private equity and debt investment funds as well as multi-asset and multi-manager solutions for institutional investors.
DeA Capital’s Real Estate division manages an investment portfolio of more than €12.9 billion with an international team of around 200 employees, which is represented locally in Germany, France, Italy, Poland and Spain.
In Germany, the branches in Frankfurt and Munich provide investment solutions in the
areas of listed real estate companies and real estate investment trust as well as indirect real estate funds.
