Holger Barth promoted at EDB

European Depositary Bank (EDB) has appointed Holger Barth as global head of banking depositary, based in Luxembourg.
Barth has more than two decades of experience in the financial services industry, most recently serving as managing director and member of the executive management board at the EDB. Prior to this, he was head of investor services at SEB.
Throughout his career, Barth has held a number of senior roles including head of depositary bank at Crédit Suisse, partner and managing director at TALOS Management Consultants and head of operations at Union Investment.
Commenting on his appointment, Barth says: “Since joining EDB in 2021, I have been impressed by the work of our highly skilled teams, who provide full depositary and depo-lite services to a wide range of clients under the UCITS and AIFM directives.
“I look forward to leading our depositary business as we continue to act as an expert support function, delivering exceptional service and robust solutions that run seamlessly alongside our clients’ fund administration requirements.”
