Bas Kniphorst moves to TAA division at Wolters Kluwer

Software and integrated workflow solutions provider Wolters Kluwer has appointed Bas Kniphorst as executive vice president and managing director for tax and accounting (TAA) Europe.
Kniphorst has been with Wolters Kluwer since beginning his career in 2001. He has held a number of senior roles including managing director for Australia and New Zealand and vice president of product management TAA research for the US and Canada. Most recently, he was vice president and managing director of the firm’s legal and regulatory business in the Benelux region.
During his time with Wolters Kluwer, Kniphorst has worked at the company’s offices in the Netherlands, Malaysia, Hong Kong, Australia and the US.
Commenting on his appointment, Kniphorst says: “ It is an honour to return to the TAA division and I’m excited by the opportunities we have ahead of us in Europe. I am passionate about innovation, and look forward to working with our talented teams who devise smart solutions to tackle complex problems every day.”
