Gerry Afentakis joins Zodia Custody

Digital asset custodian Zodia Custody has appointed Gerry Afentakis as head of European and MENA sales. He will be based in the UK.
Afentakis has more than a decade of experience in the industry, and joins Zodia from digital assets financial services ecosystem firm Matrixport where he was head of asset and wealth management for Europe.
Prior to this, Afentakis was executive director and head of strategic development at financial services firm Eurofin Asia Group (EFA). Earlier in his career he served as head of product development at the firm, based in Singapore.
Commenting on his appointment via LinkedIn, Afentakis says: “I am excited to be joining such a high-calibre team, backed by some of the world’s leading financial institutions.”
