Citi has appointed Reto Faber as head of securities services for EMEA, replacing Maria Cantillon. He will also take on UK senior manager responsibilities for the company’s UK legal entities.

In the London-based role, Faber is tasked with continuing the division’s success in the region and ensuring that a strong risk and control environment is in place. He will join the EMEA operating committee and will report to David Livingstone, CEO for the EMEA region, and Okan Pekin, global head of securities services.

Faber has more than 30 years of experience in the industry, and currently serves as head of custody in EMEA at Citi. Prior to this, he was head of financial intermediaries in the client sales management division.
