Ashley Vardon joins JTC in Jersey

JTC has appointed Ashley Vardon as senior director for its fund services business in Jersey.
Vardon will be responsible for the client services leadership team in JTC’s Jersey fund services operations, part of the firm’s institutional client services division.
Vardon has more than 20 years of experience in the industry, and joins JTC from Sanne. He spent more than five years with the company, first as a director and later as head of private equity for Jersey. Prior to this, he was a client director at fund administrator Ocorian.
Commenting on his appointment, Vardon says: “I am excited to contribute to the continued growth and success of a firm which already has a significant reputation globally and specifically within private markets. The shared ownership culture and technological-driven solutions really show in terms of JTC’s approach to clients.”
Alan Baird, head of fund services for Jersey at JTC, adds: “[The appointment] further shows our commitment to building our funds team in Jersey.
