Buy- and sell-side trading solutions provider LiquidityBook has appointed Can Envarli as vice president of engineering. He reports to Shawn Samuel, chief technology officer.

In the role, Envarli will be responsible for the development and execution of new engineering strategies and will lead the company’s engineering team.

Envarli has more than 15 years in software engineering, and joins LiquidityBook from Twitter (now X). He spent over eight years with the company, most recently as senior director of engineering. Earlier in his career, Envarli was a software development engineer and senior development lead at Microsoft.

Commenting on his appointment, Envarlie says: “I look forward to the opportunity to delve into the complexities of trade management solutions. It’s a new challenge for me and one that I’m eager to bring an additional user-focused perspective to. I’m also happy to join a company where people can clearly see the direct impact of their work.”
