Fund administration service Ocorian has appointed Chantal Free as CEO.

Free joins Ocorian from outsourcing company Capita where she was CEO of its portfolio division.

Before that, Free spent 23 years at Willis Towers Watson, the global risk and people consulting and brokerage firm.

Free’s appointment at Ocorian follows a number of recent hires at the firm. Last month, the company appointed Joe French as managing director and head of financial crime and consulting services, while Eamon Burns was appointed as global head of fund accounting in July.

Commenting on Free’s appointment, Frederik van Tuyll, chair of Ocorian, comments: “Chantal will be a great addition to our business as we continue our global growth journey.

“Her strong client focus and diverse business experience across Asia and Europe will be invaluable as we continue to grow our product portfolio and client base globally.”

Free adds: “I am excited to be joining Ocorian which has great momentum, scale and ambition. I am committed to providing outstanding service to our clients and to working with the whole team to identify further opportunities for continued growth.”
