Jessica Hynes named head of counterparty network at KIO

Jessica Hynes has been appointed head of counterparty network at The Kuwait Investment Office (KIO).

Based in London, the KIO is part of the Kuwait Investment Authority, and is the world's first sovereign wealth fund. It actively manages funds for the state.

Hynes has more than 30 years of financial services experience, holding senior sales and consulting positions at Mercer, HSBC and State Street. She has specialisms in global custody, post-trade operations and securities lending.

Hynes joins KIO from The Securities Services Advisory Group, where she served a two-year tenure as a member.

Natasha Poole, who previously held the position, has moved to State Street to become EMEA head of network.
