Komainu has appointed Robert Johnson as chief technology officer.

In his new role, Johnson will be responsible for driving innovation in the Komainu technology ecosystem.

Prior to this role, Johnson was chief technology officer and partner at portfolio management technology company Coremont. His role included strategic planning software engineering, market and reference data procurement, storage and distribution as well as technology architecture and infrastructure management.

Johnson also worked at MUFG Securities for five years. He began his tenure at the company as a director and was promoted to executive director - managing director, head of front-office technology.

Komainu says: “Johnson’s knowledge is seen as a valuable asset to Komainu as we aim to pioneer the development of our institutional-grade digital asset infrastructure.”
