Tom Alterson swaps J.P. Morgan for Marex

Marex has appointed Tom Alterson as a member of the futures clearing sales team.

Based in New York, Alterson has more than 25 years of industry experience and joins Marex from J.P. Morgan.

He spent 22 years with the company, holding a number of managing director roles including Americas head for cleared derivatives sales, Americas head for securities services sales for banks and broker dealers, and global head of private equity and real estate services sales.

Before joining J.P. Morgan, Alterson was a corporate paralegal at Simpson Thacher & Bartlett law firm.
