Michael Duff joins Marex

Financial services firm Marex has appointed Michael Duff as deputy chief technology officer.

Duff joins Marex from a CEO role at Jackson LaSalle Advisory, a Chicago-based management consulting and advisory services provider.

Earlier in his career Duff spent over 20 years as executive director of technology at CME Group, managing operations including software engineering, infrastructure and operations, regulatory reporting and portfolio management.

Commenting on his appointment via LinkedIn, Duff says: “[I am] excited for the new opportunities this role presents and to work with a great team across the globe at a fast-growing brokerage and futures commission merchant.”
