Iress hires Parker as head of business development

Iress has hired John Parker as head of business development for UK wealth.
Parker will be responsible for customer growth, product development and customer liaison as well as working with advice firms to modernise technology.
Alex Hore, Iress’ managing director for UK Wealth explains this was a key reason for Parker’s appointment: “A key part of our strategic intent for the UK Wealth business is to build even closer relationships with the financial advice industry.
Parker is an FCA-registered advisor and most recently ran his own financial advice firm.
Parker comments: ”This is an exciting time to be joining Iress. My experiences with setting up the tech stack for an advice firm showed me how far we have to go as an industry.”
