Cotter named Carne Group’s CFO
03 October 2024 UK

Carne Group has hired John Cotter as its new chief financial officer.
Cotter joins Carne’s board and executive committee and will report to John Donohoe, Carne Group’s founder and CEO.
Cotter joins from Wells Fargo where he also served as chief financial officer for four years. Previously he has held senior positions at IFG Group, Collins Stewart Hawkpoint, Royal Bank of Scotland and Morgan Stanley.
Donohoe comments: “There is a growing need for Carne’s services as asset managers outsource increasingly complex regulatory functions and operations — enabling them to place greater focus upon their core business of managing client money.
“As we continue to grow our client base to service some of the largest and influential asset managers, John will play a crucial role in ensuring Carne is positioned for continued growth and success.”
