The latest class of managing directors (MDs) at BNY will be officially promoted on 1 January 2025.

Joining the Asset Servicing team will be Ranjani Iyer, Fiona McNally and Adam Watson, who will be expected to lead and drive the company forward through the execution of BNY’s strategy.

Ranjani Iyer currently serves as head of asset servicing transformation and portfolio governance at BNY, where she has remained for over 12 years. Prior to joining the company, she held a five-year tenure at Wipro Consulting as an associate practice partner and senior program manager.

Fiona McNally is the global head of network management. This marks her fourth role within global leadership, where she also served as head of global markets management and head of EMEA markets management.

Adam Watson is part of a newly formed Client Insight and Innovation team and has been with the bank for four years. Formerly global head of commercial product in the custody business, he holds a wealth of experience in innovation and transformation.

Shannon Hobbs, chief people officer at BNY, comments on the promotions: “Our new MD cohort went through a highly rigorous and competitive selection process. Members of this group stood out for their consistently high performance and strong BNY leadership while being more for our clients, running our company better and powering our culture.”
