CSC has welcomed two key appointments to its newly combined funds and capital markets (FCM) division.
John Hebert, as the current executive vice president and president of global capital markets (GCM), will expand his leadership role to also become the executive vice president and president of the FCM division.
Venkat Srinivasan enters a new role as the global head of funds and enterprise capabilities. He will be expected to lead the service, operations and technological development of CSC’s funds business and deliver centralised solutions.
Hebert will be responsible for overseeing CSC’s global offering and how it may be tailored for clients across asset classes, structures and geographies. He brings a wealth of knowledge to this position, due to prior senior management roles in asset management and investment banking for a number of international firms.
Formerly the co-head of the funds business at Intertrust Group, Srinivasan holds more than 25 years of experience within the financial services and funds industry, and will bring valuable expertise to his new role.
Rod Ward, president and CEO of CSC, comments: "We are excited to welcome John and Venkat into their new roles as we continue to drive growth across our core markets. They have already demonstrated exceptional leadership capabilities at CSC, and together will be invaluable in setting the strategic direction for our FCM business.”
