Axelrod joins BNY as Head of FIEQ Product EMEA

Aviad Axelrod has joined BNY as head of FIEQ Product EMEA as a director within the Global Markets Trading business.
Based in London, he will report to John Goodheart, global head of FIEQ Product and head of equities and Bianca Gould, head of fixed income and equities EMEA at BNY.
He holds over two decades of experience, joining from Stifel. He previously worked at ITG Virtu in roles in the electronic algo trading, business development, and market structure space.
Gould comments: “We are thrilled to have Avi join our team as we continue to build our international fixed income and equity offering. Further to the launch of our EU trading desk in Dublin in October 2024, this strategic hire reaffirms our ongoing commitment to invest and scale our Global Markets Trading business.”
